Living in Star Idaho

Welcome to Star, the Treasure Valley’s hidden gem for those who crave a peaceful, rural atmosphere without sacrificing modern comforts. Once a quiet farming outpost, Star has blossomed into a premier destination for homeowners seeking larger lots, open spaces, and a tight-knit community where neighbors truly know one another.

The Star Lifestyle

• The Heart of the Valley: Located on the western edge of Ada County, Star offers a serene escape from the hustle of the city while remaining just a short drive from the amenities of Eagle and Meridian.

• Outdoor & River Access: Residents enjoy a direct connection to nature with the Boise River flowing along the city's southern border. Local favorites like Hunter’s Creek Park provide expansive green space, sports fields, and community events like the annual Star Riverwalk.

• Country Soul: Despite its growth, Star has fought to keep its "country" identity. You’ll still see horses on the trails, tractors on the backroads, and a downtown core that feels welcoming and authentic.

Key Neighborhoods

• Heron River: A stunning master-planned community that integrates natural water features and the Boise River into its design, offering a resort-style clubhouse and pool.

• The Lakes at Pristine Meadows: Known for its spacious waterfront lots and picturesque valley views, this area is perfect for those seeking custom-built elegance.

• Trident Ridge: A newer development offering modern floor plans and elevated views of the surrounding foothills and farmland.

• Milestone Ranch: A popular choice for families looking for high-quality new construction with a traditional suburban feel.

Star is the ideal sanctuary for those who want to trade city lights for starry nights and enjoy a slower, more intentional pace of Idaho life.
